While BikeGuide makes every effort to ensure your safety, ultimately it is your fault and responsibility if you follow any advice on this site. Also, while many of us work at bike shops, what we write are opinions, we make no claims as to being authorities, just a very experienced opinion. If you do not like those opinions, TOUGH! Make a post refuting what we say. You have as much opinion and voice here as we do. Short of articles, but even those have a link to discuss it in our forums. If there is not one, feel free to make one. If you are a manufacturer and do not like our opinion, again.. tough. It is our opinion, our site. Again you can have a voice on it and may refute what we write. Most of what we write is based on hard solid experience, most of the time first hand. If you feel it is wrong say so. If you really want to convince us.. FIX IT! then send us one to test. We are not closed minded, but saying its been fixed and we have no proof, we must go with what we know. If we often seem biased.. We ARE! We know what works and what doesn't. So we recommend what does. Most people on here cannot afford to keep replacing shit parts. Our theory is fix it once, and do it right. Many manufacturers put out junk parts just to make money. This site is built on the idea of weeding these worthless parts and companies out. If you feel you are one.. I suggest either staying away, get out of the business (!) or FIX YOUR SHIT! If your frame fails more than a few times in situations it shouldn't, guess what. You will get a bad reputation here. Customer service blows.. Same thing. Fix your problems, then talk to us. Don't fix it.. then don't bitch if we do. We are the customer after all.. Marketing may make you rich, but it does not make your product better.
