Sweet, hopefully this will improve things again, it's been a while since this system has been used on here, you took the whole damn thing down due to running low in space with the server correct?

Didn't you switch servers quite a while back? what was the hold up on all this?

Oh, I'm lovin' the titles you get for the rep points, but jesus, so many levels of idiot hahahahahaha!

I was just not ready to implement it.
The bitching about banned words prompted it.

just to understand, this means i will need to have made 2500 posts (well, until it gets changed about) until i can affect peoples rep points, regardless of my rep power (if i gaian any)?

2500, plus a positive rep of about 300 (easy to get).

I've been logged on for about ten minutes. Lost 80 some rep power points and got some cute little comments.

Some people here need to read the guide above and use the system properly, if it's going to be abused then i'd have second thoughts about installing it again.

Once people blow through their initial points, it will slow way down.

Something people seem confused about...
The number next to the boxes is your rep power. How much you have to hand out.
The boxes represent your actual reputation.

what if some guy who has enough rep power. doesnt like one member. and uses all the negative rep points on him to ban him. is that possible?

edit, nvm

also, do those numbers applying to bg only count as of the time you started counting the rep points again. because many people have clearly been here for over 30 days. and haven't gained rep power.

If you have 2500, been here for 30 days, and have possitive rep.

There is only so much a few people can really do to someone.

It would take 50 of your rep power points and 3 days, just to give someone 5 points. Even with 5 people, you are talking a combined 250 points, to hand someone 25 points.

Do the math, it was designed this way for a reason.

So if you need 300 reputation points to give rep, how can anyone give it initially if we all start at 10?

because right now, you only need +1, not 300.
I had to lower it to get the system started since no one had 300.

And once you hit possitive rep, you will be able to hand some out.
