Yeah, what's wrong with 4000 prepubescent know-it-alls arguing over the same topic every three days?
I was going to write something pointing out the extreme irony in this quote, but PatriotBMX pretty much summed it up perfectly a couple of posts above me.

If you don't like how BikeGuide is run, what's stopping you from leaving and making your own site?  Seriously, I've done it before and it's not that complicated.

It would have been great to have parents, but it made BMX so much more hardcore and real not being able to buy anything new, ever.

Way to blow things out of proportion. This is the internet, I'm allowed to argue about whatever I want whenever I want. I've got like ten gangs.

I think the more important issue here, is wat collor shud I paint ma sproket?

Websites are private property, technically, you don't have freedom of speech. You only have the rights granted to you by the sites owner.

A bit of advice, ease on the conspiracy stuff. That shit is a rabbit hole with no exit. The further you go the crazier it gets. Go too far and you will find yourself in a very different world, trust me on this.

I understand you can argue about whatever you want and you choose to only argue about 9-11.  Im just saying it gets old as fuck and its as bad as the wat color or will slam/triumphs/whatever feel like slam/triumph/whatever or how can i slamz wheel threads.  Believe me, I would have no problem going through and deleting all that shit but then I feel like a dick.  I feel like Im censoring content, which I only do when its in violation of the rules Sheepdog has laid out.  We are actually working on curbing the constant bullshit from people not searching and posting the same threads, especially in the bikeshop.  Its hard to do and closing the forums wouldnt help.  If you have some ideas/answers, please share.

So if they are banned, what difference does it make now?

you should look at yourself with what you used to be posting in the sell/swap forum before I stopped being lazy and looked in there.

na man, i'm just as guilty as anyone else, I made a thread about the fresh prince theme song.

All i'm saying is don't count yourself out from the spam side of things. We all do it.

I don't purchase parts on the net.

I understand that and respect it. But i don't think that's the case most of the time. A lot of the members here are younger and don't really have a well developed since of manners yet ( I'd say i'm still on the curve aswell) So of course offencive  or stupid comments are going to be made. But the way they are delt with are for the most part wrong. When a new member here does something "wrong" i guess you could say, They get bitch out and get an imature negative reaction( It is the internet so there will always be a bit of this) But who ever is offened should just be like "Hey that's not cool man I don't think you should be saying stuff like that"

How are these young, immature comments treated when thrown around in such a diverse group in real life?

I'd say similarly.    Message boards are that different from the real world. Sure, people's personalities may be complete 180s of their outside selves, but the basic dynamic is there.

If some people said on here to those same people in real life, some people would get an ass whooping.

Everyone puts on a brave front on the internet.
