I'd like to shoot racing too. And I have heard that it is tough to film high speed action with a DSLR. Anyone care to comment?

to all these people with the vx's and DVX's... do you have a seperate handy cam for taking off your footage?

would you know if you can use the hd tapes for hv30's onto a non hd handy cam

just noticed these now. yes and yes. i'm even a bit reluctant about rewinding and replaying footage for people during a session. i don't know how many hours have been logged on my VX2K and although everything is working like a clock it's by far the best filming setup i've ever owned and i don't want to jeopardise it's lifespan.
