A thing of beauty, reminiscent of Escher.

Stolen from www.digmore.co.uk

I could ride this all day everyday, wouldn't even need jumps.

Just found this pic from Woburn's facebook page, the diggers have been very busy. Saw it being started a few weeks ago, went last week and saw this beast. I don't even know what's going on, but suffice to say I won't be riding it.

Wow. Don't think I've ever seen a step-down that big before. Or is it a step-up?

I may be helping out with building some smaller "beginner" jumps there this weekend so I can find out what it's meant to be.

edit - after some fb trawling it looks like it's a landing, so step down I guess.

I reckon its a quarter or some sort of landing. Its too long to be a takeoff unless you're going superspeed.

from what i've seen and read, the dirt they have there is very sandy. i don't know how well that would hold up for any type of dirt quarter.

my vote is for landing.

It definitely looks like it would be difficult to pop off something so mellow so it's most likely a landing. It's awesome that it's built it in a lower spot so you can carry more speed from it.

I don't see a reason why superspeed would be difficult to reach at a spot like that. :)

Love the look of those woods as well. Reminds me a bit of the forests we have over here. Sadly the proper ones are all too far from civilization to build trails at.

"brand new beaastly landing for a 180 hip" is what it is. And yeah Woburn's a pretty fun place to ride, loads of short-run downhill things which is all I ride as all the DJ is massive at the minute.

vid I just found
