I shot my friends and didn't like it...Just buy/build an AR15 and get a dedicated .22 upper for it...switch it out and you are set!

Almost everything I've read about them has been positive so far.  Dedicated .22 uppers are something I have heard a lot of people having problems with though.

Maybe you have heard problems with the drop in .22 bolt carrier groups?

A dedicated .22 upper would have the same problems as a dedicated .223 upper, just depends on the build.

How is your Springfield doing?

Depending on the gauge, shot , distance and placement. I can load shotshells in my .22 and it won't be lethal to a human... I can load snake shot, or rat shot in a 12g and it probably won't be lethal to a human... I can load beanbags in a shotgun and it won't be lethal to a human... not end of.

As for the Mp-22 they are jam mattics.

try a colt urmarx m4.
Or just do it right and go with a ar lower and get a tacsol dedicated upper.
