yeah i got the license its just a pain to have them only certain ranges around alow pistols and you need a new permit everytime you take them out, fuck canada's shitty laws.

Change of subject... Shotguns, I need one.

I'm looking into a Remington 870. Anyone on here have one? I like everything as clean, and as flush as possible but I really like some of the AR style stocks, especially some of the Precision/Sniper's by Magpul. Not a huge tactical kinda guy but I'm considering something like this if the law allows. Haven't looked into it yet.

I used to have an 870 express and a 500.  The 870 had issues ejecting shells at times and the slide release was in a really awkward position for me.  For example, with a 500 I could easily/quickly reload without moving my trigger hand and release the slide with my thumb.  With the 870 I would have to move my trigger hand up and release the slide with my index finger.

Also, it was cumbersome to feed shells into the 870's magazine due to the position of the feed ramp (I think that's what it's called).  You have to push the shells through the feed ramp since it covers the opening of the magazine. None of the things I mentioned are really "issues" but just things that annoyed me.

Overall the 870 was much better to look at and hold but the 500 was much more fun to shoot.  I would look into the Benelli Nova as well if you're looking for a good pump.  Seems to be very reliable and looks good too. Plus it chambers 3.5" shells =)

I shot one a few weeks ago and it didn't malfunction once!  When I run out of ammo I can use it as a blunt force weapon...I'd rather buy American than get a Glock!

Lifetime Warranty also!

Its getting there...

Cut the rails and fit the slide. Just a little lapping on the rails and that part is finished.
