I don't get the allure of firing former machine guns single shot at the range..

Its illegal to own "former machine guns"  without the proper licensing, which is very hard to get and very expensive.

ATF classifies a machine gun as "once a machine/select fire gun, always a machine/select fire gun."

I own semi automatic rifles exclusively, they fire as fast as you pull the trigger.

I know what the NFA refers to.

What I'm asking is what is fun about shooting guns that weren't really designed to be accurate shooters at the range.

There is nothing inherently inaccurate about AK47s.

Mine shoot as accurately as they need to.  They are also extremely reliable.

EDIT: As long as they shoot "minute of squirrel," then my fun blasting guns are all good lol.

Man oh man do I wish those were mine.  Unfortunately they belong to my buddy from New Zealand.  He can own any gun he wants, full auto, 20mm etc.  But he cannot shoot them.

I don't think I could fund a bolt or semi auto .303...the brass is a lot and the surplus is drying up.

I do want a VZ58, but I dont want a century built VZ2008.
