No idea what I'm going to do for an upper yet. I was originally going to get the one I posted a few pages back when I was shooting for a pistol. I want a stock though so I'm going longer. 14.5"/16" instead of the 7.5"

That guys price is WAY down though from what it was.

I'd like to keep the entire upper under $800

I'm currently looking at this Rifle Gear Upper and swapping out to a quad rail.

Lower is almost finished. I picked up the KNS trigger pins, Radlock, Magpul BAD, JD Enterprise LPK (without the trigger but they threw it in anyways), carbine buffer and carbine action spring. Still waiting on the Magpul UBR I bought on CG, Geissele SSA trigger and Battle Arms Development Ambi Safety Selecter (BAD-ASS). All that should arrive anyday now.

You'll have to tell us what you think of that bolt release... I have the reload sequence so drilled into me with a standard bolt release that the extended one seems like it would be so awkward.

Barrels mist have a permanently attached muzzle device. Basically a blind hole thru the device and into the barrel, a pin pressed in then filled with weld. Must be a minimum of 16" including the device.

The bolt catch can be used exactly the same as without the BAD lever. It allows you to release the bolt and lock it back with your trigger finger as well as retain all standard function. It simply clamps onto the stock catch.

This bullet button shit sucks though.

FYI the muzzle device can be Silver Soldered too... blind pins are a PITA.  Only matters if you're building it yourself though.
