I have a UBR and I still cannot figure out what the buttons on the side do!

I read all about them, on forums and the directions.  And I push the buttons in, preset and reset but nothing fucking happens.

If anyone know wtf they do or how they work, I would appreciate the knowledge.

Mine just got here. You need to set the preset with the small screw inside the main body on the bottom. Take the stock apart and you'll see it on the bottom. Once this is set to where you want it, simply pulling the release latch will bring you back up until that preset spot. If you need to go further back you press the left side preset button to go further back.

steer clear of the IOTV copies. I hate the lack of mobility in them as the fronts sit too high up my neck and just feel like shit when crouching or on the deck.

I have a Voodoo tactical PC, seems alright, way lighter compared to most and i'm happy with it. 5x8 soft side plates fit in nicely for a change. mobility is good, comparable to a sideless rig. stays on solidly while moving quick, i've had others fall off pretty easy.

The only other one i'd recommend is the Platatac MAC. shit loads of movement in that one and good quality.

And am I the only person that is getting sick of Magpul just because they're the internet fad brand?

nice. So what are you gonna use it for?

deployment, hunting, (ugh) airsoft?

That sorta dictates how it's gonna work for you mobility wise

Just ordered a Battle Arms Development - Ambi Safety Selecter, finally.
BAD-ASS

Ordered the 45 degree Short Throw version with a Standard lever on the thumb side for a high ride similar to my 1911 and a Short-Thin for the opposite side.
