Shot skeet for the first time today. Yeah it was alot of fun. And bird shot is like $6 for 25 vs $6 for 5 slugs

I got a new lower and parts kit last week, still yet to build it!

Contemplating on another 16incher with adjustable stock or 18-20 inch with a2 style stock.  I really like the rock river extended operator stock.  Its basically the same dimensions as an operator carbine stock, with the nice sop-mod cheek rest, but the length of an a2 stock.

Personally, I prefer a shorter fixed stock over an adjustable. Plus, that looks quite a bit lighter than a standard A2 fixed. But fuck me, 7 pounds for a carbine? Are you kidding me?

It is a .308, heavy barrel carbine...

Regardless, still heavy IMO. But I guess the majority of people buying this kind of rifle will put 15-20 pounds of useless shit onto it because it will make it look cool.

It's a heavy walled free floated upper for making long distance coyote/varmint shots of course it's going to be heavy.

I don't think anyone has one yet, they are a pretty new release. More of a gimmick/shelf/discussion piece than anything else.
