Thats why i'd carry my xd or a smaller sized 1911, harder to conceal but have that added security when carrying with one in the pipe glocks are alright with the right holster though.

Difference of opinion here, but I'd never concealed carry my XD. The single action trigger isn't that long and the gun is fully cocked at all times. One snag on the trigger during a draw or reholster = accidental discharge. I'd open carry it all day in a duty holster and I trust the gun 100%.

Hence me CC'ing a DAO gun with a very long trigger. Very hard to get an AD when there is a 3/4" trigger pull.
