Difference of opinion here, but I'd never concealed carry my XD. The single action trigger isn't that long and the gun is fully cocked at all times. One snag on the trigger during a draw or reholster = accidental discharge. I'd open carry it all day in a duty holster and I trust the gun 100%.Hence me CC'ing a DAO gun with a very long trigger. Very hard to get an AD when there is a 3/4" trigger pull.
If you truly fear that you'll shoot yourself you either need more training or you shouldn't be carrying. You need to be 100% comfortable with the weapon and trust that it was designed and built well.

Bird, What did you for the the Glock 19? I really don't believe in 9mm, unless your target shooting. Although I wouldn't mind a 19 that's full auto with the 33 round mag.
