Can't decide which ACOG to go with. The TA31-ECOS or TA31RCO-M4? Price difference is only $150, but I'm unsure which reticle I'd prefer.

Purchased 1000 rounds, shot 200 with a Glock 22 and SA XD-40, and I got 28 FTF. :(

That sucks! Did both guns FTF or was it just the Glock?

Both guns had almost equal FTF. I tried reloading the fukked ammo in the opposing guns, and still no bang. Hopefully Freedommunition comes through and exchanges the 800 rounds I have left for a newer batch.

Yeah they should definitely be replacing your ammo.

I want a small, lightweight summer carry gun. I'd love for it to be pocket sized. I was pretty set on a S&W 442/642, but a Glock 26 also sounds good. Couch, do you still have a G27? If so, is it too thick/ heavy to ride in a pocket all day? Any other guns I should be looking at? I read a few things about the J frames having light primer strikes and becoming "loose". I plan on purchasing something in the next few days.

I still have my G27. It fits in my pocket but its snug. More so because the pockets are tight rather than the gun being thick. Depending on the pants, it may be a bit heavy in the pocket. I'd much rather have it in a holster.

"Pocket sized" is really subjective... I can barely pocket my PF9. Your build/clothing/activities will dictate what you can pull off.

I think a Glock is just too chunky for summer carry. A Rohrbaugh would be awesome but they are $1k+. You may pull off a J frame but it's a tough one.

Went ahead and ordered one of these earlier today.

I'll post a pic of it on the AR when it comes in.

I love my 10/22. Its great for putting a lot of rounds down range cheaply. Its dead on accurate at 100 yards. Quiet, no recoil and easy for everyone to shoot.

Having said all that, I've been enjoying my shotguns a lot more than my .22 lately. Been shooting clays quite a bit. There's a lot more of a challenge with that than my scoped 10/22 with a bipod.

what would you recommend as far as a scope (what do you use for 100 yards?), or bigger mags?
also, what would a bipod run me, and are they easily detachable?

thanks

Went out and looked at guns today. The G26 isn't going to work out for me in a pocket. Dammit.
