We have the ten day wait in MN also. I got fed up with it and got a permit to purchase..Now I can purchase them and take them home that day

. Not sure if all states have this option, but I would look into it..Just go up to your local PD and ask if they have a forum to fill out for a permit to purchase.

Hawaii has a permit ..wait 14 days to get your permit then 14 days to get a handgun. eVERYTIME

Sometimes you gotta buy what's best. And you all know I'm for buying American. But atleast it's not Taiwanese. The shotty is American. And so is all the ammo.

Are there drop in conversions? Do you need a ramped barrel to switch back and forth?

May need to be ramped since the feed ramps are different. Ejector and slide stop are different too. May be more work than its worth but training with a Glock, as you know, is drastically different than a 1911.

1911 in 9mm = bullpup rifle.

I figured I might as well buy a glock and if I don't like it then I can sell it. Plus The after market parts list is huge and really want a Tupperware service pistol and The Xd's didn't do it for me.

Then again I don't train with my 1911's so I don't see a problem.shit I don't even shoot them let alone carry them.
