They're pretty fucking fast.

And they can dodge large stones being pelted at them with amazing agility.

Which is why I was so shocked to kill one, from such a distance, with a BB gun.

I guess that just means I am a western badass, then. Yeah?

Seriously though, there is like 50-60 of them on our 20 acre property at all times. We have like 40 peacocks, which we want here. I just don't like we have more wild turkey then we have badass peacocks.

Nah. Its a bird refuge, gun shots will scare the other birds up into the air, making the hunters on the other side of our fence (a 30,000 acre hunting refuge or something) shoot them all down over our property.

FInished up the lower today with the exception of a adding a Magpul BAD, and swapping the selector for a JP enterprises when it comes off backorder. I am very happy to be half way there.

Now to save up for the CMMG Piston upper.

CMMG stripped lower

KNS anti Rotation pins (overkill in this case but had them before the trigger)
Raddock AR Bullet Button (in CA [:/])
VLTOR Sling adapter plate

H2 buffer
Misc DPMS lower parts
Magpul 10rd in 30 body mags

I am very happy that I got it together without scratching it up.

So I managed to loose the keys to my gun locks. We remodeled our home and I cant find anything. Whats your suggestion to getting them off?

They have the same key so if you go to a store and buy the same gun lock then the key should work, then just return the lock.

what ever you decide on get something that uses standard nato sized ammunition, that way you wont have to worry about trying to track down where to buy your ammo at

I need gun help. Yes, seriously.

I want an air pistol. I have no real idea what to look for. I like the idea of co2 powered but i've been told they're only good for a few shots before they lose power.

I was looking at the Walther p99 which is bb and co2 powered.

I'm pretty open to any suggestions though as this is all new to me, i don't want to spend a fortune (about £100 ish but preferably less) All i want is a relatively high powered and accurate pistol.

Just any advice on what to look for and what's best would be appreciated.

I have a Beeman P3 I am fond of for plinking cans and whatnot in the backyard

.177, pneumatic, 410fps, and a light trigger. All the critical components are metal while the outside is made up of tough polymers. Good weight to it as well, not some flimsy thing

Is recoil really a problem in air pistols?

I need to take some photos of my 10/22 now that I've mounted the scope and bipod. We went shooting on Sunday. Things placing 1/2" groups at 100 yards. Not bad for the first time out I think.

Recoil is more of a problem in air pistols/rifles because the muzzle velocity is much lower, and the projectile spends more time within the barrel, hence any movement of the weapon having a far greater effect on the overall direction of the projectile.
