VLTOR donates money to the Brady campaign and is anti 2a, lets not talk about them.

Time for old guns...some are safe queens and some get fired.

My 8mm Nambu made in year 11.1 of the emperor (January of 1935) with all matching numbers, matching magazines and original case.

193x matching Colt .22 Derringers

1915 Colt Hammerless Vest pocket .25 auto

Winchester Model 1897 Pump 12 gauge shotgun

Thats just a glimpse.

What do you want then?

Lets talk about classic gun designs that just don't quit.
Also, in before any post about a 1911 or similar copy.

I was mostly making comment on all the "tacticool" crap that people seem to love bolting only things... For me, it's simplicity... M4 with an Eotech 552. Job done.

Rifle based... probably a Remington 700 or perhaps an M14...

I don't like battle rifles with optics/scopes.  Battle rifles use irons, DM rifles use optics.

Don't get me wrong, I love me some wood furniture.
It is just easier to get people stoked on some rails and aluminum,
than it is to get them stoked on some real steel.

Look back a couple pages, we have been talking about 1911's. A few of us have even posted our own... well, as much as we have so far...

I have a savage auto 12 gauge that looks just like this.  Either savage copied someone else or someone copied savage or this is the same receiver.  Very cool gun.

EDIT: SAVAGE

That is a Remington Model 11, which is a copy of Browning's A5.
Which is one of the longest running production guns ever.

So Savage copied the A5 design, nice.  Mine is like 28 inches long bbl and just a monster.  I think it holds 8 in the tube one in the chamber.

Really?  Seems kind of counter productive.

Brady campaign is the worst.

Something like 90% of their (VLTOR) income is from government agencies/contracts, not from civilian sales.  So they wouldn't be hurt, maybe they paid them money to get some leeway with something but either way it was a bad move.

My brother is the one with all the guns, but I am thinking of getting my PAL and buying a .22 or something.

He has a Russian SKS, pretty fun gun to shoot. Has a crate of military surplus ammo which is dirt cheap to shoot.

His newest gun is a Lee Enfeild No 4 Mk1, his probably never saw action, but is a similar gun our great grandfather would have used in the canadian millitary during WWII.
