I haven't personally, but they come highly recommended from what I've seen. I know they provide a lot of stuff to the military.

LBT makes amazing gear. Those load out bags are extremely dialed. Also if you need a PC I would look there then also look into the PIG over at SKD

Just won this in auction. It'll be my first AR-15, but I can't find an upper to save my life.
Thanks Obama.

Yeah, it's polymer. They sell them here in Vegas for $80 stripped.
I got this for about $220 with shipping included. Seemed like a good deal since everyone has been buying 6 at a time and this is the first one I've found under $300
Completed receivers are back ordered up to six months from NFA. There's nothing wrong with the polymer lowers, I've heard great things about them from other shooters here.

Never said anything was wrong with polymer lowers..Granted Have seen photos of broken ones. You did well on the price considering it's a complete lower...Not sure what NFA is National Firearms Act? Nevada Firearms _________?

I have a stripped Tactical Machining from brownells...that will be here one day.

New frontier armory lower...

I don't suggest running that on anything bigger than 9mm upper. 223/556 uppers have been known to break them. I've seen 2 personally cracked from 556 upper use.

They're rated very well for .223 and New Frontier has been pretty good about sending replacement lowers to customers who have had problems with cracking. I'd encourage you to go look up the "torture test" videos that NFA has on their website and on youtube. In a lot of cases they're actually holding up better than aluminum.

In any case, it's already been purchased so I'll let you know first-hand how it holds up if I can ever find ammunition, a magazine and an upper for it. :bustin:

Ever see a lower blow up? If you are willing to catch a bolt to the face the. Go for it.

Either way in 10 months when you can find the rest of your stuff, ill be waiting for your review.

9mm is harder on lowers than 223.

that all depends on how you run your gun. You shoot 556 or 223 out of your uppers?

No it doesn't. The bolt carrier of a blowback gun like 9mm hits the hammer way harder and faster than the comparatively slow bolt carrier of a 223 DI gun. It tends to make hammer pin holes in 9mm lowers elongate. Hence the heavier buffers and ramped bolts in 9mm guns.

I've had this Insight M3 sitting around for a while and I finally got a shotgun mount for it.

How was super toss last night?

Either way if 9mm is harder than 556 in a do or piston upper. Fuck running that lower on anything other than 22lr
