e30 rear suspension designs were not the best...Even though i know you love(d?) your e30.
I said it was balanced, I never said it had great suspension. It's suspension had one major issue, and that was if you brake you had major camber change causing loss of traction. If you know how to drive the car, you can EASILY compensate for it. E30's often put higher powered cars to shame because of how they drive. It was a momentum, you brake early and get back on the gas fast, giving it gas, reversed the braking issues giving you lots of traction. The car had very good brakes, and could out brake much newer cars with larger brakes on them.
The rear suspension was also used on the Z3 roadster.
