i'm just saying that what some people want to accomplish is the ability to drop their cars, and with stretching the tires they are given more room to do so without rubbing.
Rolled inner fender lips, proper wheel offsets, proper tire size -- all ways to avoid rubbing with a drop.
Of course, it seems that after 5 threads (or so) of trying to argue this, people are still gonna do it. I just think it's unwise to spend money on something that's clearly a disadvantage in about every category.
Maybe I just don't have enough money to piss away on tires, and maybe I enjoy cars that handle and ride like they should.
