performance VW had a special on that car a while ago and if you read the article you will understand that we have nothing against honda engines. the only reason i hate bbs on hondas is because every kid i know with a civic hates on german everything

I used to be (and still kinda am, though I sadly don't own one) a hardcore VW guy and there are a hell of a lot of people on VW forums that hate on Hondas just as much as Honda fanboys hate on VW. I just don't understand how you can hate when one car runs rims like that just because the stigma that goes with Japanese car owners is that they hate on European cars. That is what doesn't make sense to me, if anything that is being just as bad.

Anyways, some porn:

And just for kicks......

The best looking P1 car since the GT1! I have changed teams this year, I was an audi guy but now I am all about acura. The small 4L NA engine vs the 5.5L twin turbo diesels should be a David vs Goliath battle this year.

There is hardly any wheelset I would rather have for my EG hatchback than a set of 15x8 BBS RS001s...

Also, Rotas aren't really that hardcore JDM, so throwing them on a VW shouldn't really make any fanbois cry too much. I could see people getting mad if it was a set of these or something:

If those BBS wheels on that Civic turn you off, what do you think of this? Blasphemy? I really kinda dig it...

Sorry for the smll pics, only ones I could find, anyone got more pics of this neat little frankenstein?

I have nothing against honda engines or hondas, that's awesome.

this isnt exactly true because a guy with a kswapped civic dyno'd with a 2.5" exhaust then changed it out for a 3" the same day and dyno'd it and got some decent gains. it was something like 10-20 whp which isnt much but for an all motor car it is.

Simply put, no.

What else was changed. A motor twice that size barely needs that much pipe.

The new R15's look pretty sweet though.  The wide nose is a pretty big change from the other P1 cars.

What BMW wheels are those? They look like BBS RSs just with BMW center caps? Are those actual 4x100 wheels off of an e30 or something, or are the redrilled or ran with adaptors?
