and you lose your warranty if you turn trac. control off, use the launch function, or go anywhere near a racetrack that it might turn the limiter off, so your fucked when the tranny goes out(like alot of them have)

they really dropped the ball in the after purchase care on that one

I saw a black one running around today.  Sharp looking car, but I'm still more stoked on the new Camaro.  That is based purely on esthetics, since I'm not much of a car tech guy.
Today was a good day.

They've dealt with the problem, but they dropped the ball on covering it until they dealt with it.

Sorry, I am not a fan of it.
I'd take a z06. Yeah, call me stupid, but if I mess it up, I like knowing I can get parts, or that a blown tranny isn't going to cost me 1/4th the cost of the car if I mess up. I like to drive my cars hard, and know parts will be available to fix it.

Not to mention entirely too many fanbois get stupid when they see that car. "ZOMG A GTR!!111!!", yeah, it's a Nissan, calm down.

I like the new GTR, but if i had to pick between that, and an older skyline, I would def. pick the older skyline.

You're not the only one.  However, give me a ZR1 instead of the Z06, still a Corvette so parts are common, but faster than a GT-R/almost every car other than the Bugatti Veyron.  Plus, my personal opinion is that the GT-R is ugly, some of the lines are just a little too much for me.
