Robbb:
at first i planned to buy that pentax but its weight freightened me a bit although i never held one in my hand.
but the mamiya is so light and compact, exactly what i wanted.
just the battery is annoying which is dead after 3h of exposure. that's pretty awkward for nightshots.

lukepeeters:
My battery is good, i got one of those external battery things for cold temps. They are good with super sharp lenses, crap for close focus, so quiet it feels like you haven't taken a photo. Fast with the meter too. built sucks and wears easy. also good luck at focusing at night.

Let me know how you get on with the rangefinder.

Tall Pat:
fucking finalllyyyyyy have one. words cannot describe how excited i am. i lost all motivation to shoot photos up until i got this, now its all i wanna do. feels good. expect a lot from this guy.

Aesop Rock:
The fact that any camera would want to make someone shoot more is an awesome thing. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

Tall Pat:
I just got so burnt out on digital. My friends and everyone around me shoot digital and photoshops their shit to hell. It just got to the point where I didn't even want to take photos anymore. And the whole "click shutter button, check lcd screen, delete, reshoot, repeat" business gets old. I started on film and ill always prefer film. I've been wanting a medium format set up for years, and to finally have one, especially a hasselblad... Definitely the most excited I've been about anything in a long time.
