Post Your Photo Setup [V4]
Dick:
I'll be getting another DSLR soon. D7k and the 35mm f/1.8 dx. I know you have the exact setup docta and it's great. Never used one of those lenses and was pretty blown away today with my friends. That thing stays sharp as a tack at f/1.8, didn't notice any c/a either. My 50mm gets soft at f/2. Can't wait to get my new stuff.

I think it actually gets sharper. If it's the 1.8D, it's sharpest at like f/5.6
Dick:
Well at f/8 or so it's sharp as a tack. But I know that its performance isn't nearly as good wide open as the 35mm. Wish I picked yours up when you were selling it! I'll be ordering my camera next week, can't wait to start shooting again.
ImNick:
When I had a crop sensor I really liked the 35mm. The perspective is more like a 50mm on a full frame.

What I carry in my backpack(s),
D600, 50mm f1.4, 20mm f2.8, SB600 & nikon cleaning kit.
Reverse side of the pouch has enough room for both chargers (flash and camera batteries) extra batteries for both, 2x sd cards, and my remote.
Missing my tripod from the picture, Oben CT3500.
Saving for an 80-200 f2.8 as well as a 60mm f2.8 macro to round out my kit.
Having a digital again is really nice.
