Jens M:
How easy is it to nail focus with the manual lenses? Do you use AF confirm in the viewfinder?

Dick:
I did it for over a year without even realizing the af indicator even existed. Still isn't as easy as an SLR viewfinder.

Edit: how is the d600?

dstrctn:
Absolutely perfect.
Every time I handle it I like it more haha.
And Jens I've been using manual solely on an FM10 for the last 2+ years so it isn't really anything to get used to. Only time it can be somewhat difficult is all the way down at f1.4 since there is so little margin for error.

wheelr:
Are you having any problems with dust/oil on the D600 sensor?  I've heard lots of complaints.

Also, hoping KatzEye comes out with some screens for the new Nikon bodies.  I just bought a new body and all my lenses are of the AIS variety.  Hearing you are having good luck with the focus indicator is good news.

Jens M:
The problem with all the digital bodies (and bodies after the F3 I think), is that the viewfinder only shows f/2.8 - which makes it a bit harder to nail focus when using a faster lens. I like using the live view on the 5D ll, but the Nikon live view is kinda sluggish (refresh rate when 100%). You guys heard of the new Sigma Art line? Their 35mm 1.4 apparently is the sharpest 35 ever tested my DxO, and it's cheaper then the nikon/canon one. Has nicer bokeh too.

About the oil/dust, from what I've read - it disappears on most of them after 3000 shots.
