my name is joe:
Nikon D90
Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 MACRO   ( really isnt a macro... )

thats about it.. :(  I'm trying to find a tripod but not spend so much on it until i really feel that i want a better one. Sometimes I feel this camera is way too much for me as I just started shooting a week ago.

John B:
oh my god. i have never been happier. i will be shooting an m2 for a while. here they are! the m6 is going to another home for a while. didn't pay for it either.

Hmm - I think I need more Canons.

What's in the picture:
Canon 40D
Canon 1N
Canon IXY digital (SD400 that was sold in Japan, and was cheaper than the US version when I bought it, so why not)
Canon AE1 (with split-prism focusing screen and eyecup which make it usable)

Canon 17-40 4.0L
Canon 70-200 4.0L
Canon 28-105 3.5-4.5
Canon 50mm 1.8 (FD)

Canon 550EX with a piece missing, but it still works.

Bogen/manfrotto 488 tripod head with hexagon quick release, which is HORRIBLE, and takes way too long to attach or remove the camera, but it's sturdy as hell.
Bogen/manfrotto ground level tripod. Great piece of gear because it's a tripod you can fit in a small shoulder bag, but you have to find a ledge or bench or something or shoot from the ground. Live view helps tremendously if you have to shoot from the ground, by the way.

On payday I'm gonna order an FD mount 85 1.2L, just because I could have such a great piece of glass for relatively cheap.

Very nice John. Very early M2 (1958?). How does it feel compared to the M6?
