Yeah i took most of the tape off, still some to cover up the name.

It seems to be around 2 stops, the sky becomes totally awesome, I'm pretty sure that Trent Parke guy would have used a red filter.

I've looked into them a little, but I always find myself struggling for enough light. Even shooting at 800 I sometimes have some issues so I'm not sure that a filter is the best idea; even though the results are awesome.

I should probably tape over that stuff as well; or at least the little red dot.

Sounds like you would like a yellow or orange filter!!

Yeah ill only have the red filter on if its sunny.

haha. yeah the guy is officially pissed at me for telling people at fotosidan that it takes 2-3weeks to get the negatives now and that one of my friends gets ignored by him. she's been waiting for prints since january

now she got the negatives back with a note that he didn't have time to do it because of personal issues. kinda funny since I know people that developed stuff there and he's been advertising on fotosidan _alot_ during this time :cheers:


I found a place. aifo.se sold bw filters. i'll pick one up when i get back home

Just this little thing for now. Seriously impressive camera though, I'm getting shots pretty much as good as I'd get from a DSLR. Has its limitations but you can work around them to some degree.

have the same basic camera (s95) and honestly the best thing about it is the size. take that thing along without a second thought. oh, imagine all the manual settings, raw file option, and decent low light helps too
