I just finished this.  I've been wanting to make a knife from scratch for a while now and finally got everything I needed to make one.  I ordered the blade from Knife Kits and used some ebony I had laying around for the handle.  3/16" brass pinstock was used for joining the handle to the blade.  The side profile of the handle wasn't really what I was going for but I had a mishap with the router so I had to make do with it...I was thinking some sort of knurling/hatching on the raised part of the handle would look good.  It's finished with linseed oil.

Thanks Couch.

Actually it's the Drop Point Hunter.  It was one of the cheaper blades they had and I liked the look of it so that's what I ended up getting.

I did the little chess box last year, currently working on the desk you see on the sheet of paper.

For the moment it's still in the drawing stage,
The structure is going to be beech and it will be entirely covered in satinwood and spalted maple veneer.
I'll have to remember to take pictures of the progress.
