I was just out riding and realized i somehow put 2 huuge dents in my chain and seat stays. im so bummed, especially because the back end definitely isn't straight anymore.

and I just sold my old fbm frame 2 weeks ago....for 20 bucks.

Been raining here for a couple weeks now... so I only put on a new set of grips.

LOVE the new T-1 Joe Rich grips. So squishy.

agreed! i've been riding the soft compound grey t-1's all summer and they feel like broken in softened up longnecks straight out of the packaging. they even do well in humid weather.

Soft compound Black ones for me (they don't even sell the Hard compound anymore, as the soft ones are that good).

Blasted the fuck out of some jumps. Weekly Friday jams at the local public DJ's. we had 20 plus hardcore trail riders out today. Sickness!

riding & scouting for spots: scramhyphy and i found a couple 14" high ledges with big wide angle iron wrapped around the top edges, and it's at a really slight downhill so it's a fun fast ledge. we had to wax it a bit and scrape some rust off and rewax a little, but it's ideal for a little fuckaround confidence building ledge. hopefully i'll get more confident at high speed grinds, since it slides effortlessly

maintenance stuff: i loosened the chain a tiny bit so that it wouldn't creak, and then by the end of my 4 hour ride my axle had crawled backwards a couple millimeters and the chain was tight again. i''ll fix it and not just halfass it before the next time i ride.

Serviced my "Solid" headset, adjusted my brakes, sanded the pads and tightened some spokes.

Put a couple new stickers on too.
