Failed at stripping the paint off my cranks because I ran out of stripper after the first coat. Also did not have the proper gloves, so the latex gloves kept melting. Got most of the paint off then applied a liberal coat of black paint. Take that brown cranks.

Built up my new Wave-C and right now I'm building some Tree hubs to 24inch Rhyno Lights to put on my Model-C.

Gonna be an awesome wheel set.  And an awesome bike!

I only patch in an emergency. Whenever I'd try to patch to save a tube and continue riding it, the patch would always fail at the most inopportune time. Yet I had friends that could run tubes with a dozen different patches and never have any of the patched areas fail. :dunno:

The only patch I've ever had fail is one of the self adhesive ones. That was only because it was a cheapo supermarket brand shit one. Patching tubes is like the first thing you learn how to do to your bike, surely?

I'll blame the patches leaking on my impatience and not letting the glue set up properly before inflating.

Put new pedals on my cruiser. Blew up my ankle a few days ago so I'm off the bike for a while until the swelling goes down.

The trick is to let it dry before you put the patch on

After work I am going to find a rail and try and grind it. I've never hit a rail before and I'm not sure why. I know I have the hop to hit one I just have this mental block saying I can only hop up curbs and that's it.

Like a hand rail? Flat rail?

I've only done 1, I just didn't dig it. I don't dig grinds in general though.

Hand rails. I never do them and always seem to think I can but I never try. I like grinds but I'm just not good at them. I am good at some grinds on small ledges but when they get about stem height I can't connect. Plus I get bored of grinds because I can't do anything out of them.
Maybe I'll get more comfortable on my frame and can manage to get over some hurdles. But yeah I have a love hate relationship with pegs.

A few but getting to them is hard especially with work and usually when I do ride a park I rarely think about grinding. I used to ride nothing but trails so ibtry an ride as many ramps as possible I I do come across a park that has a good setup.

Tightened its spokes for the first time, and took it for a quick ride before it started raining.
Bike Check

With enough lube and brute force, anything is possible.
