flipped it off and mooned it since i'm still broke off from the recent pile of shit i ate where my wrist, shoulder, and left nipple all got worked over. i did however put a ziptie right behind the cable hanger to keep the straddle cable from flexing as an experiment and it worked great. when i had a dual cable gyro setup a month ago my brakes were like CLAK CLAK with near minimal tension and they were really stiff. now they feel almost as stiff with a ziptie pulled tight. people annoyed by the flexiness of the straddle in their brake setup should try this. ziptie, a piece of string, even a 1" diameter key ring would be good. also i put a tiny dab of grease in the straddle cable holding part of the brake arms, now there's no creaking. i probably won't be riding for another week so i'm thinking about polishing and gun-bluing my already raw t1 bars and profile crank arms. if i do i'll post pics.
