Rode a concrete skatepark for the first time. I enjoyed riding the hips but the rest was a bit meh, small ramps so probably made more for skaters than bikes. Loads of foot high ledges for long high speed feebles.. Taking my pegs off as I completely overdid those today. Decided I only really enjoy riding trails now though, too many skaters and scooterers with no park etiquette. Considering selling the bmx because trails are rideable on my mtb :\ Gonna clean up the road bike today, its filthy.

i'm going to ride trails this winter i decided. not "giving up" on street or park but to be honest tom, i'd agree with you, other people are a hassle.

Street on a MTB feels so goofy though.

Yeah it looks shit as well. I don't ride street much though. Bikes are for going fast and doing jumps on haha

I swapped out my un-trendy 8" bars for some trendier 8.5s with more upsweep finally, and threw on a top load. Took it for a ride and it really does feel much nicer to my back.

Did this a few years ago due to complete laziness, works amazing considering how little work it takes.

New wheels showed up today. Elites laced to Birdcages with some new tires as well.

Definately looking forward to riding this weekend to try them out.

story: my boss asked me to run to the store and pick up some screws. lot of construction in the area. well so im bombing down a hill passing up a bigass dually pickup truck on the right when i notice him veering left and think "i wonder why hes veering l..." then see a bigass trailer doubleparked on the right, bout 24in between the two of them and my bars are 28. wayyyy too late to even slow down and pull left so no choice but to make myself fit. holy fuck this is a big steep hill so i slam my foot into the brake barely dropping speed when i end up in a skid and fish tail my rear peg into the end of the trailer but somehow stayed on the bike and passed the truck
