What did you do to your bike today? (v2)

not today but lately: put some new ruben bars on, cut them down 3/4" on each side and smoothed the inside edge of the cuts so the plugs can come out a tiny bit easier. then started grinding my pedal pins down to about half the length since my vans waffle tread is getting stuck to them and i've gone down with the ship a couple times because of this.

today it was decent so i actually took it out to the little prefab metal skatepark nearby. the place has a horrible layout, with no flow whatsoever so i was just hitting this one 4 foot quarter with all the basic lip tricks i could think of. then i ate complete shit on an abubaca which my tire slid off the coping and went to my back. absolutely shredded the top of my crack and lower back, so sitting down isn't so pleasant. after i took a break i tried again and pulled it.

the next little upgrade i've got planned is adding a front brake. i haven't had one since 1999 or so, and there's some banks downtown that i really want to no foot canadian nosepick. if this does happen then i'll make sure to get a photo.

Threw on some CultxVans grips and some fresh bar ends..

Spent the last couple days working on getting my flatland bike rigged up.

The gussets are awesome.  My wife has been needing my name carved into her for about a decade.

switched over axles between my homer and monkey hubs, love how i can open a 6 year old hub and the inside is still pristine, the uk made homer is functionality and simplicity in one.
im gonna take the forks and shit off my flat bike and build up a hybrid with normal pegs so i can still do grinds on it and get around as well so that i ride it more. just need a bb, all the rest can just be shit ive got lying about

It looks amazing, I've booked a day off work to go ride it in a few weeks time.

Shoot us a PM & if i'm free i'll head over

Edit - Will do G, few of my buddies have been a couple of times already & love it.

My opinion so far is that the pricing is a tad steep.....but apparently it's may change.

Rode the last two days, got worked a bunch on saturday so was very nervous to ride on Sunday. Got a highspeed long un-luc-e to 180 on film yesterday and one other kinda filler clip. Then did a nice uprail 180 at a pretty good speed. Tried tailwhips and almost caught 2 of them. Just need to lift my right leg.

Tightened up a few creaky spokes on my front wheel and gave all of em on the rear a nice quarter turn. Love the popping sounds on the next ride!

Dripped some gorilla glue under my grips bc they were throttling.

Search for Flo Skateparks and you'll find it. My mates have been twice so far and it's 90 minutes from here so got to be worth the trip.

Were going on Friday 7th December if anyone fancies it, opens at 12 on Fridays.

Readjusted the rear derailleur on the GT so it'll hit all the gears again.
