Completed the bike I've built from entirely donated parts for my friend who had his bike stolen a little while ago and went to the skatepark with him.

I'll have pictures up eventually.

The gussets are awesome.  My wife has been needing my name carved into her for about a decade.

I put pegs on my bike today and then proceeded to eat shit on a rail like 2 inches above peg height 5 minutes after I started riding.

Phil: Different stems take up differing amounts of steerer tube, just FYI

I drilled a big hole through my fork compression bolt so I can get the lever end of my front brake cable through it when needed. Dunno why I didn't do it before

Took my pegs off and ended up putting them back on at the end of the day. This has been a lifelong dilemna of mine. I wish i was good enough to be able to have fun on my bike without pegs. I always end up taking them off in an attempt to be original since everyone in brooklyn rides identical, basically only grinds. Watching steven hamilton edits daily probably doesnt help my cause either.

Dialed in the fronts, then had a solo session riding a wooden jersey-barrier-ish shaped ramp. It was awesome.

I know stack heights vary. But I'm getting a rough estimate and ill be running a FBM midget stem until I can get that new 36mm enduro I saw sneak peeks of. So I'll order spacers needed and a couple smaller and bigger.

I recovered my eccd seat last night with some vinyl and a staple gun. Harder than I thought it would be because of the thick material and some of the hard to get spots under the rails and at the nose.

Unstaple it and use a heat gun (or hair dryer) to get the vinyl nice and warm. Makes it a bit stretchy. Also if it's the mat backed vinyl you can peel that off to make it a bit easier as well. Once it cools it shrinks back a little.

ORRR take it to an upholstery shop, it's be like 10 bucks to recover and they have the special DEEP staple guns that can get in around the rails.

Seat I did in burlap a long time ago.

Stem and rim arrived today and I took CMB's advice and looked on eBay for pedals and I won some metal Rubens for a sick price. I am going to lace my wheels at work once it dies down a bit.

Awesome man! How much did you score them for?

Put my new(used) Profile cranks on my cruiser. Can't wait to properly ride it.

$25. I'm happy I didn't have to spend over $40.

do you do your oppo pedal feebs with you front or back foot? i was trying them the other night and kept just falling off the ledge and slamming my knee into my stem. i think they might be easier switch (front foot grind) but i gave up before i could try
