What did you do to your bike today? (v2)

Picked my stem up from the bike shop while waiting for the other things just so I could ride it around.  Got bored and went to the local bmx track but it was in horrible shape because it's off season and all the storms we've had.  Still had a blast just cruising and pumping around.  There was a cute 30-something year old there riding her mountain bike, was "really interested in bmx, I want to start riding but need someone to help me."  Let her cruise my bike around the track, got the digits.  I'm leaving town in a week but I'm going to try and hook it up at least once.

edit: got bored just going around since it was so rough and started hipping that first asphalt berm into the grass.  It was super sketchy without brakes, for me at least, never rode brakeless.

I don\'t think anyone is going to literally kill her. She\'ll probably just get thrown in jail and get raped a bunch.

While it is upside down, I stood on the pedals and pedaled, I got to about 6 cranks before I lost it and fell over.

I feel honored.

debating if I should finally start building up a front wheel for the spare bike. The only thing missing is the 184mm spokes and time to build a wheel.

Rode the 20" with my wife while she went running. Jumped some curb cuts, nose manualled little shit, and cruised around.

Changed my brake pads. Formula K18 pads don't last at all, I think they're just too small for riding DH with. The Avid front pads still have some life left in them but this is the 2nd set of Formulas that has gone this way in just under a month. And I brake more with the front if anything.

Steel one off a complete. Is probably about a year old though, I've been doing lots of high speed uprails/upledges lately though, which I can't imagine would help, strengthwise.

Just had a nightride, missing a lovely chunk of finger trying to peg coping in the dark.
