What did you do to your bike today? (v2)

had to use pliers and 2 crescent wrenches to get the existing hardware and axle washers on my front hub since the soft steel washers crushed over time into the axle. then i realized my axle is starting to bend so i'm stoked on that. i've never done much axle destroying in the past, so i'm kinda glad to be pushing myself harder. i just installed 2 shadow front hubguards that fit pretty well, so now i should be putting that front axle through even more shit pretty soon. glad to have some spares though, gotta love those SBC axles.

paranoidmexican: locking levers are fun if you can think of some useful tricks to do with them. no hand abubaca, tiretap barspin stalls, funny weird dork tricks. i'd recommend watching some old school AFA flatland / ramp videos on youtube for inspiration.

Adam- Check out Bobbie Altiser from Tree.  He uses the locking levers on his bike.

Rode my big bike to and from work. Adjusted the brakes on my little bike and went around the block.

Decided to raw the front of my frame again. Wound up taking all the clear coat with it along with smearing and making a mess. Resprayed sections of the frame with clear and called it a day. Then I rode it.

Rode a skatepark completely blanketed in pollen--gotta love springtime in the south. Luckily it didn't make anything slippery which surprised me.

New stem and 2mm or so taller spacer on the FBM. Tensioned the front wheel and installed new grips, chainwheel, rear tire, and brake pads on the 24" Dirt Bike.

Replaced the bar ends (which is pretty much weekly, I had two big bags of Fit bar ends and now I have 2-3 sets left if that) then I proceeded to gap to flat and stuff.

The gussets are awesome.  My wife has been needing my name carved into her for about a decade.
