Got a 30 minute solo session in on it today. Local tiny pre-fab park was empty. I had some stuff on my mind, it was like a therapy session of sorts.

gave my brakes a much needed overhaul. cleaned the brakes, springs, post, greased that shit up and got new cables. my brakes have never felt better. got a new bb, grabbed the cheapest one and didn't realize stolen had little cut outs on the cone spacers

fell off of it numerous times, adjusted my bars a couple times trying to find the sweet spot, and did some little feeble grinds on the left side for the first time in 11 or 12 years probably. i'm so glad i put the left pegs on recently.

swapped my 2 year old steel bead aitken front tyre with a faded redwall which i sprayed black and then all the paint wore off again so it looks really crappy, for one of those pretty smooth fit tanwall ones which looks basically brand new and turned out to be folding. good swap

took a crossbar to the chest. but i have never actually ridden a park before so i was proud of what i could do. i'm pretty sure i would have more balls if i was riding wider quarters and not so tight park setups. I also managed to get some balls and throw dem bars a little more confidently now. hoping the next time i ride i can go a little faster and throw em a little higher. also this was all done on a lower frame and high bars which i have never been able to do ever unless i was on a higher standing frame and low bars so i'm really happy with what i was doing on the setup i am on right now.
