icepick chinked a bunch of metal gutters built into some curb cuts on the sidewalks, and then tightened up my headset from nosediving a curbcut and then hitting a downhill cobblestone brick street at high speed. i found a sweet tree stump sub-box kind of thing on top of this dirt bank near some library or church or something. i need to bring a can of bug spray to kill these shitty huge ants, and maybe a little shovel or something to help shape the lip up to the tree stump. i can't wait to fuck with it. it's been years since i've had a fun sub-box kind of thing to do stalls and shit. can't wait to fufanu it or ice to fakie. i'll post a pic to the local spots thread once i fix it up a little bit. maybe if i do that it'll inspire me to fix up some other spots around town. a little quikrete here and there, some wax possibly.

Btw tremont has rideable banks they're just blocked off from the construction they are doing for the new bridge.

Cleaned stem, fork and bars after stem slipping twice. Grease from the bolts had somehow gotten in there.

Gfs dad bought home this purple folding bike, got ahold of it and cut the shit plastic grips off and put on my old animal ones, swapped the pedals out for old animal ones, moved the brakes/gears along, inflated the tires and tightened everything up.

Pretty fun to roll around on even if it does look absurd. If the weather is decent ill probably test ride it!

Changed my tube the other day and used my mini handpump to fill it up while showing my friend Bad Idea and parts of Killjoy.

Painted the cranks after riding it to work today. Can't wait for my new wheels. Feels like I'm constantly riding whoop section. Plus I put it in the position to e stolen since my car finally started and I just drove off. I went back and my bike was still where I left it. Good neighborhood.

Took both brakes off, redrilled/tapped head tube for non-Fly gyro tabs lower down the headtube (so gyro doesn't bottom out no matter what), swapped 30t Tree sprocket out for an old 28t 7075 Ody Compact sprocket (I got the quarter guard for it if I ever feel the need) and put a new Bluebird on.

The first Bluebird I've had that's been gold (matches half link colour) and I'm running a gearing I don't need a half link for. Stoked to have a spare unworn half link anyway as I have a billion spare lengths of 510 links and make new chains out of it from time to time

Brakes are going on when I CBF. I already have all the mounts/guides/gyro plate/gyro installed so I don't have to do it when I get around to putting the brakes (plural) on. The gyro is tied to the gyro plate so it doesn't rattle around while I'm getting around brakeless
