do JCPC replacement bodies come with nuts and bolts for the pins? if not what have others done to replace theirs?

they don't. i had bare spare nuts/bolts from when i got the whole pedals as i only run one side with pins for grindage. they're a common size and i imagine most hardware stores would have some

Apparently there's a reason everything they spray down in the promotional video is white. The box claims that the coating dries to a "milky white haze," but what you really end up with is more along the lines of "someone vomited small amounts of white paint onto my belongings and left it in the sun to dry." Generally speaking. And as we already mentioned, that pre-digested milky mélange shakes off with alarming ease—from the places you actually want it to stick to, that is.

It probably wouldn't be the best on a frame or any bike part. Maybe with some more development it would be.

I'm thinking about getting a new back rim and I'm wondering if I should get it in chrome for maximum stopping power. I haven't run a chrome rim in many years but back then the general consensus was that brakes worked better on chrome rims. Is that still a thing or will black rims perform just as good?

I switched from a chrome rim to a hard-anodized black Hazard light about a year ago and I saw zero drop in braking. Plus, the coating is seriously durable and has yet to wear away like many other colored rims I see. Odyssey got it right.
