Red box for wanting ti spokes.

They are for my Oil Slick hubs.  Probably going to lace them to an anno Purple Ody rim.  Shit looks pretty tiiieeeeeet.  You can fuck right the fuck off if you disagree.

Ti spokes are what they are.  I laced up the A+ wheel set for a dude at work with some ti spokes and they turned out pretty awesome.  He constantly talked about how awesome they felt for like the first 3 months he had them.

i couldn't find any after 5 minutes in google so they probably don't exist. find some blanks/extra long ones and get them cut and threaded

or just give up

I potentially found some at Dan's.   Not really the rainbow I was looking for but it works.  They call it "Purple Haze."   Still on the hunt.

It is obviously pretty hard to grip and I assume it doesnt have anything you can get to behind? You can try to find a bolt that just fits in and angle it sideways (or weld something to it)' then stick it in the oven at a lowish heat 150C maybe. The aluminium body should expand significantly compared to the steel race and with luck you will be able to get it out.

Thanks dude! The bearing seat and the outer race are pretty seem less you know... I was hoping there was a wee device I could put in the inner diameter of that race that would expand against the inner circumference then compress it outwards, using wedges?

Do you think I could achieve near the same at 100 c? I don't want to clean all the grease and grip tape off these to stick in my oven.

Probably Springfields.  They have a thin washer and a button head bolt that are the only things that sit above the brake mount post.  You could probably even get rid of the washer and then that would be pretty much as low as you can with a U type brake.

Oh man, didn't think of that.  How close is it?

You could always take another type of brake like Flys and modify the arms to take a Sprinfield type spring and then use just a button head bolt without the spring/cap to hold the arms on.

Not close, the arms didn't clear by a significant amount.

I'm not looking to do a lot of jerry-rigging, I was just curious which brakes on the market are the lowest. Or are they all about the same at this point?

They're all pretty close at this point.  What are you running right now?  Might be able to use the springs and top caps off another style of brake to lower things down.

Definitely a long shot but does anyone know what spindle length I would need for a Campagnolo C-record double chainring crankset? Pretty sure its 111 or something close to it

its going to depend some what on your frame & what the bb width is, but you're probably right in thinking its 111, either that; 102 or 115.

theres shittons of info on the web about old road bikes, of you look up the og specs of the frame you're putting them on you can probably find what the oe spindle length is
