I'm really interested in the hub, too, seems like my BSD hub won't take that much of abuse anymore...

Well that sucks! Really want to give the Simian a go instead of a Marmy. I guess ill try & get everything else first then & hopefully by the time i have the Simian will be out, or at least on its way!

Edit: I dont really know why i thought of this... But Dave from the Merged said we'd be stoked on the hub guard. I was thinking there might be a plastic guard that slots over the little lip bit kinda like a gland. Then a little metal guard that replaces the collar & holds the plastic gland type guard on.

To clarify: the front is going well and hopefully will be out relatively soon.

The rear is taking a little longer and probably wont be out until the late summer at the earliest.

G, tell us more about the rear hub!

If I have to buy a new hub now, will my Ratchet axle and bolts still fit in it?

The gussets are awesome.  My wife has been needing my name carved into her for about a decade.

I realize this is incredibly vain, but what grips are closeest in colour to the brown of the Tree Ergo Seat?

haha well I'm glad someone else asked, as I'll be looking for some matching grips soon as well.

Either of you find grips that are a close match in color? I'm looking for some also and all I can find is Gum color.

Respraying cranks, will I get away with just sanding the paint down a bit til its thin and rough then go over with black then lacquer, or do I need to get em raw, primer then the colour and clearcoat?

I'm still yet to get any matching grips, the odyssey ones I have now are too comfy to change just yet.

I wouldn't bother rawing it, normally resprayed cranks end up with the paint rubbed off on the outside

Thanks I didn't see any on Empire, I'll just run my black Griswalds until I find some.

How many hubshell bearings does the Primo mix have?
I've heard anywhere from 2 to 4. I can't find a straight answer and vitalbmx is illiterate.

There should be just 2. Some of Primo's older front hubs had 4 bearings, maybe that's what's confusing them?
