i swapped my trusty attila stem for a brand new sunday freeze stem and now it slips on every single hop

i've re-done it every time it slipped

do i file the bars, inside the stem or both? does that work really?

and for a bonus question, there's no logo etched on the cut outs at the sides so is this a new version or is there a difference?

also, how much gap is the least you can leave inside a fork steerer tube before the threaded bit?

The new one has no logos on the side. It also has a square font on the faceplate. The older one had the rounded classic Sunday font. As far as I know theres no major difference.

The fuck do I get my driver locknut off? Sitting here with a pair of vice grips on the axle, sprayed a little wd40 on it, and tried to do sudden snaps with my wrench. The vice grips slip on the axle before that nut budges.

Trying to put a cult female axle in my mix.

You shouldn't be using your vice grips at all. You can bolt the hub on the outside of a dropout and use an adjustable to get the locknut off. Mix axles have a broach too..

My axle isn't broached and the non drive side bent and that's why I figured it stripped. Since it's stripped I can't do the suggested. I would've already done that anyways if I could've.

thread 2 nuts onto your axle, and then using 2 spanners (put the vice grips away) tighten them together really tightly. then you should be able to put a spanner on one of them (theyve got to be on real tight so they dont budge-the outer one should work best), and it should keep the axle tight so that you can crank the locknut loose.

also grease the threads on the axle just next to the locknut so that once it moves, its going to unscrew a bit smoother
this year i am going to have sex and it will be awesome

Oh I put the lock nut in a vice and got a pipe wrench. I got it all with damaging the parts I needed. Just need a new cow washer as mine looks shitty from having a hub guard on it.

The cult axle for their mix version hub is the same as the remix female apparently.

Are khe/cult freecoaster clutches lhd/rhd swappable. Or are they either side only?
