It would have been great to have parents, but it made BMX so much more hardcore and real not being able to buy anything new, ever.

Still stumped on how I want to build the wheels for New School bike, any thoughts?

The Sabbath is going to have...

Rear:

48h Nankai chrome 10t
48h Peregrine Super Pro
3x laced w/stainless spokes w/chrome nipples

Front:

48h Primo Son of a BOMB
48h Peregrine Super Pro
Radial laced w/stainless spokes w/ chrome nipples

My thoughts on the New School build...

Rear:

36h Nankai w/polished Profile shell 10t
36h Sun Big City Lite
3x laced w/stainless spokes w/red anodized nipples

Front:

36h Profile Mini polished(or maybe red anodized???)
36h Sun Big City Lite
3x laced with stainless spokes w/red anodized nipples

Get Rhyno Lites over Big City Lites. The big ballers seem cool too. Just not heard good things about the City Lites.

With Sasha on the Rhyno Lites instead. And get polished hubs for both bikes!

No flatland pegs? It'd be rad to see some Lovegoat or Primo Tubesteaks on the Sabbath.

That wheel is QUALITY. I havent ridden it for years, probably need a good service now but i have a Nan/file hub with a 12t driver (long time ive had it!) One of my favourite hubs for sure. I think it will definately suit the Intrikat! I know how frustrating it is waiting on parts & even more so when you dont have the money for the parts you want. Hurry up & get it finished, i love me a good Intrikat & the old skool stuff is pure flatland history too!

After two weeks of wheelbuilding, I'd hope it'd be straight....

The contrast of the overbuilt double bolt viking clamp vs the minimalist integrated clamp is interesting. Evolution at its finest.

Well, I, for one, am glad the rest of mankind actually moved on while bmx was 'evolving at its finest'.
