I'm in total disbelief.  Really, really terrible news.  I didn't know him outside of BG, but as everyone else has said, he seemed like a really decent, friendly human being.

Rest in peace, Brian.  My thoughts are with your family and friends.

I sent him a present last year for secret santa, and his bikes were always sick...shocked and saddened. RIP Brian, shred the ramps up in the sky. My condolences to his friends and family. :(

What up everyone. Just wana shed some light on the subject.

Brian and I were extremely close friends as well as co-workers at Haro. I’ve know Brian for about 10 years through riding bikes. And what happened yesterday was a shot out of left fucking field. When I arrived at work yesterday and realized Brian wasn’t there, I gave our other co-worker a call; his partner down in the warranty department (who had the day off) to see if he knows where Brian was. Brian usually shows up early to work so this was kinda weird since he didn’t let anyone know he was gona be late. Long story short, calls were made and eventually later in the afternoon Brian was found. Brian decided to take his own life yesterday which is still a complete shock to everyone who knew Brian on a personal level. Like I said I’ve known Brian and his brother Josh for about 10 years as well as working closely with Brian at Haro for the last 2 years. I’m seriously still in disbelief that this happened.

Me and a bunch of close friends as well as friends in the bicycle industry are going to be putting some sort of benefit jam on for Brian and his family. Details on this are very vague as of right now but something will happen.

Damn. Never met him, but reading this shook me up a bit. Brian always seemed like an awesome guy from his posts on here. 23 is way too young to go. RIP Brian.

I honestly can't even believe this. I've not really ever spoken to Brian aside from a trade many moons ago but I've always had tons of respect for him and really looked up to him. This is really terrible. My best wishes go to his family and friends. Rest in peace Brian, you were a good man.

Man, that's so sad. I was really hoping it wasn't a suicide. It's shocking.

I didn't know the dude personally, but he always seemed pretty level headed, positive and happy on here. I can't help but wonder what drove him to do it or put him in that dark state of mind... I wonder if he was under the influence of something or if he just had some underlying issues he never shared with anyone. I really don't mean any disrespect by it, that's just how my brain works I guess.

Yeah he seamed to be pretty motivated in life. A good job, always out doing something cool like shooting guns or riding motorcycles, had a beautiful girlfriend, built some cool SXCC bikes. He was even building a bike rack for his motorcycle and showing it off on here. Tragic.

Wow, a pretty big bummer to hear the details.  You never know what's going on inside someone's head and what their life is like.

The world can be a pretty messed up place and if you lose site of the beauty in it, you can fall into a deep hole and feel like there are no options to get some happiness back.

Damn. Don't even know what to say now... I just feel horrible that he felt down enough to end his life.
