best brakes around these days?

Tall Opinion:
I'm running Evo II's as well. If you don't mind a bit of brake squeal then grab a set of the clear pads that all the companies are making now. Super soft and grippy.

CMB:
I'm running Demolition Vulcan V2's after switching from Evo 2s because of frame clearance issues. They're super easy to set up and have a nice smooth pull on them.

badlight:
All of my fufanus are brought to me by Eclat brakes. Those demolition brakes look good, but the 1 open ended arm kind of ruiNed them for me.

tecnic1:
Springfields on the seat stays, eclats on chainstays. 

paranoidmexican:
eclat, evo2, the shadow brakes are nice. colony and demolition brakes work really well too.
