Anyone that remembers Nate Hanson Grips...
« on: December 23, 2014, 04:46:38 AM »
Anyone recall if they were about as thick as the old t-nez grips? Also if they were particularly long or short? I found some and if they are that fat and not oddly short, I might go for them.

Thanks!

Can't comment on the t nez but the Hansons were super thick, I loved mine. Think they were just regular length.

Get some Revenge Da Kine grips, probably the closest thing still in existence. Also, I just got United Nathan Williams grips and they feel pretty thick but have some cut outs that make them really nice to hold.

I can always remember them being about the same thickness as the primo og logo grips.
Average length really. Around 150's when I got ahold of them. Though they were a little stretched

I had the Nate Handfulls back in the day.  They had to be about 34mm diameter.  Check out FBM double fisters.  They seem similar.

They will for sure be shorter than current grip offerings.  Those grips were from the days of 26" wide bars being the norm.

Are the Nate grips the one with the "trucker mudflap chick" on them?  Or were those Chad Degroots?

Mudflap girl was Degroot. Pretty Hanson's were just a series of rectangular boxes?

Touché, sir.  I have a pair of the Degroots chilling on the parts shelf.  They are also big fatties.

I'd be all over some fatter grips.  My hands are getting all "old-manny" on me and starting to hurt a lot more than usual.  I'm thinking fatter grips will hopefully help.

Any idea when they're out?

^^they do look better than the old ones. i wonder if these ones will last a bit longer and not rip so easily? the old ones were way too soft of a compound to be having all those lines to tear along

I miss the original Primo logo grips (the ones with the PR1MO style logo).

the mushroom ones? they were real good, but still not as good as longnecks. remember the wall and vmonster grips for matching rubber treads haha
this year i am going to have sex and it will be awesome
