Odyssey Aitken Denim seat
« on: January 09, 2015, 06:54:57 AM »
Alright, so I have a challenge for all you web-savvy dudes. Looking to get one of the black with gold stitching or really any one with gold stitching. I know it's pretty much deemed to be a lost cause as the seat came out in 2008 (7 years ago!) but perhaps there's some secluded shop or mailorder that still has one.

Did quite a bit of searching but couldn't for the life of me find one. I could swear there was a blue version of it as well but I couldn't find it even on through Odysseys website.

Good news is I did find two grey denim versions but I suspect these are the ones with red stitches although I kind of do recall there being a grey denim with gold stitches version as well. Probably have some sort of false memory though, there's no info about such a seat anywhere.

and a two http://www.sunshinedistribution.dk/aitken-denim.html

Looking at a thread from 2011, dudes were looking for this seat for months even back then...not promising

'tis the one I'm looking for

BMXbutikken is my local shop, I work in Copenhagen. Send them a message on Facebook, the employees/owners are from Australia/uk/usa, so there wont be any language barrier or such...

Will do. I'm sure it's the grey with red though, as listed.

Wish I could. It might look decent though, will have to see.

Ha, indeed, I was quite obsessed for a long time and with good reason. He's still the man. In my eyes he's always had the most bike control, out of most anyone, really. Seems to be an all-around sweet dude as well.

I'm only really looking because I just got a new transparent golden frame. Seeing as my black Aitken seat is a bit torn up, I've been thinking this would be a perfect fit. It looked sick on that raffle bike I posted initially.

I have one with the gold stitching.

Good on you, ha ! You must have had that for a long time already? These things seem to be built to last. I've had the black one for over two years now. Although kevlar should hold up even better than denim, it's getting a little worse for wear.

I've had since it came out, the color has faded and it looks more like a light gray now. It's been retired for a while.
