I ran ahead a bit and hid, dropped my jeans and took my top off and started chasing them whilst spraying beer all over them and making weird noises.

my bike is a beauty

nothing has really changed since i first posted this other than a matching set of microknobbies, altough 2.25 in the rear is way too boggy and slow to pedal around on. tiresome, in fact thinking back, 2.0 and a smaller in the back felt so great and light
my left pedals and cranks are stripped but still together.
my tree bar ends have been hit with the loctite
my xlts have been rewelded at the crossbar and appear fine
i reallly really need to relace my five year old wheel, i have spokes in the mail, im gonna do it!
oh man and im gona need to use an angle grinder to replace my jcpc pedal sleeves.
my brakes and pegs are back in montana, actually i have a pleg for the front and a ti for the rear in the bike supply box! and i still have my front brake here as well, sweet

got it down to 20lbs, had some fun then i put my non-paper-thin tires and hubguards on

new wheelset
marmoset
sapim db spokes, solid spokes under the gland hubguard + pleg
sun envy light rim, hope it holds up :)
2.25 microknobbie on a narrow rim

antigram - needs an aluminum axle
sapim db spokes, solid spokes under the gland hubguard
birdcage rim
1.95 kenda kontact on a wide rim

also got a shadow attack stem and am looking to get some column cranks on there.
