« on: January 31, 2015, 12:25:59 PM »
when are they out and how much will they cost (in the uk)?

plus, is there a picture of one on a bike yet?

plus, plus, is the eclat overguard the quickest copy of a bmx part yet?

conveniently missed by the merged now hes in bed with eclat haha

i dont like the overguard designs myself, the daily grind dsg is ideal i reckon. i reckon even in steel the gsport one would fold in like the primo metal ones cos its quite flat already
this year i am going to have sex and it will be awesome

Those parts are both sick (definitely the Dugan pedals), but my pee pee is crazy hard waiting for the Simian rear hub.

Uniguard should be out in March. Price should be very reasonable but I dont know an actual number yet. It IS chromoly and heat treated and shaped to stiffen itself so it shouldn't bend in too easily. Its a very complex curved shape so it stays as close as possible to the peg and dropout and not hang down like a ridiculous scrotum like the Eclat one does...
There was a picture on a bike check Broc Raiford's

But this was nearly a year ago now and it has changed a bit since then.

Dugan pedals will be a bit longer yet, probably early summer. Price should be similar to our existing pedals like the twisted and Trailmix.

People have been copying things forever, I mean...

I think the 'over' type of guards are dangerous, going mach 10 at a rail ledge and hitting the upright with the exposed front?

Is there an expected release date for the Simian rear hub? And just to confirm, 9t only?

I'd rather ride this than an over the cog guard for the drive-side. it just seems practical.

If I remember correctly that was fixed to the peg and aluminium and looks to be thicker than the dropout...

I agree with you, but why is an inside guard no subject to the same risk? Sure the external guard is a little further out there, but the risk is unavoidable if the guard is going to protect the chain yet let the chain pass? To minimise the risk of this, I made the leading edge of the Uniguard as curved as possible, both to make this rise up more smoothly if it comes close, and to strengthen the rest of the guard.

Test ride feedback has been very good and we have been working on this a long time.

9tooth only yes.

No solid date yet, but it should be this summer, probably late summer though so dont hold your breath..
