Just as the title specifies, if you had/have a custom made frame post it up, include the builder who made it and specifications of the frame and why you chose what you chose if you like.

If this thread has been made up already apologies in advance, plus I'm not sure if this is the correct place to start this thread, seemed the most logical, if it needs moving please let me know.

Cellmember, so many questions. Why does one frame have zero seat tube and the other have way too much? Why does the second frame have both chainstay and seatstay mounts? Did the tensioners on the Solid frame actually work?

Well the solid frame was about the time when wedge posts started to come out basically I really liked the look and the ease of this design so I had one made up just for that.

The Embassy frame has both SS and CS mounts because I do like to have the option of having both, I get the urge to either go chain stay mounts for a while and seat stay for a while basically that's all it is really I just wanted the option to use either one when I felt like it and as for the seat post that's usually the amount of seat post I have out of the frame as on the Solid I usually had my seat slammed also I still like the function of a wedge and the aesthetics of it, if I ever decided to use a normal seat mast with a clamp for what ever reason I have plenty of room to modify the frame to do so.

The tensioners on the Solid were a bit of a problem as I had to remove them to actually use my hub, the would rub on the tensioners, luckily it wasn't hard to do, if they were a little smaller in shape they would have worked perfectly, was a bit of a bummer but not a huge inconvenience.

Cheers

No the Solid I sold, I still kick myself for it and the Embassy I still have which is resting in my spare room.
